Don't let it sit, submit!
You may submit your accumulated Professional Development Program anytime during the year that it is due for renewal (expiry year), if all 45 hours are completed.
You don't have to wait until the deadline (Midnight September 15) to submit your credits.
Procedure:
- Download the PDP log sheet and save to your files.
- Type in all your activities (respecting the maximum hours per category)
- Send your form as an attachment via email to

* no need to sign the document, your email is considered an electronic signature. - Every 1 in 10 submissions and all late submissions are audited.
- Once the submission and audit are successfully completed, you will receive a confirmation email.
- The PDP expiry date will appear on your new registration card for the following year.
- Registration cards for PDP candidates are withheld until the assessments are completed, don't delay and send your PDP log sheet early to avoid late fees.
$110 late fee after midnight on Sept 15th
- MLT submits log sheet on June 1, 2021. The log sheet includes activities from June 2018 to May 2021.
- Any activities from June 1, 2021 and onwards can be included in the next PDP submission expiring in 2024. If the 45 hours is reached before the September 15, 2024 deadline, don’t let it sit, submit. You can submit at anytime in 2024 to be able to claim new activities for the next submission.
- If you are an MLT who accumulates over 45 hours before the expiry year and do not want to waste any PDP hours, simply submit early and restart the process. For example, you have 45 hours in 2022, however, the expiry deadline is September 15, 2024. Renew in 2022, and your next expiry deadline will be in 2025.
Remember, if you submit at your expiry date any leftover PDP not submitted will no longer be accepted since you reset from your submission date.
If there are any activities that do not seem to fall within any of the categories mentioned in the guidelines, please fill and submit the PDP credit evaluation form and inquire with the NBSMLT Registrar.
