CSMLS General MLT Competency Profile Revised and Approved by CMA

The CSMLS is pleased to announce that the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) has accepted the revised General MLT Competency Profile outlining the expectations of future entry level General MLTs in Canada.
his was a collaborative effort based on feedback from current Medical Laboratory Professionals for the Medical Laboratory Professionals of the future.
Together, CMA Accredited General MLT Training Programs, the CMA, and the CSMLS negotiated testing to the new standard will begin in June 2019.
